American Heart Association
Gateway employees, friends and families raised thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association through our sponsorship and participation in the 2008 Heart Walk. Sarah Seltzer, an energy supply accounting supervisor, was Gateway’s top fundraiser. Sarah, of New Hempstead, dedicated her efforts to her grandmother, who passed away due to heart disease.
Both Sarah and Gateway were honored at a thank-you dinner hosted by the AHA.
The 2008 Heart Walk, held May 18 at Rockland County Community College in Suffern, NY, raised $400,000 to help fight heart disease and stroke.
